Cemotobike Warranty & Claims Policy

Coverage

All Cemotobike products are covered under a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects for the original owner.

Warranty Period

  • Frame: Lifetime warranty for the original owner (requires online registration within 90 days).
  • Battery: 2 years or 500 charging cycles.
  • Electronics & Drive System: 2 years.
  • Components & Parts: 1 year.
  • Accessories: 6 months.

Transfer of Warranty

Warranty applies to the initial purchaser. If transferred, limited coverage applies (Frame: 2 years, Battery & electronics: 1 year from original purchase date).

Exclusions

  • Corrosion, paint fade, scratches, cosmetic marks.
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, modifications.
  • Normal wear items (tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, grips, cables).
  • Water damage, improper storage, extreme weather exposure.
  • Non-Cemotobike branded components (covered by their own manufacturer’s warranty).

Warranty Service

  • Defective parts repaired or replaced at no cost (eligible claims only).
  • Labor/installation charges are not included.
  • Outbound shipping covered by Cemotobike; return shipping is customer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.

How to Submit a Claim

  1. Contact info@cemotobike.us.
  2. Provide order number and proof of purchase.
  3. Submit required identification codes and video evidence:
    • Battery & Motor: Battery code + Motor code + clear video.
    • Other Components: Frame number (VIN) + clear video.
  4. Our team will review and confirm eligibility.
  5. Approved claims will receive replacement parts or repair instructions.

Claim Materials Checklist

  • Battery & Motor claims: battery code, motor code, clear video of defect.
  • Other components: frame number (VIN), clear video of defect.
  • Order number, dated proof of purchase, contact details.
  • Photos/videos of packaging if damage occurred in transit.

Governing Law & Consumer Rights

This warranty is governed by the laws of California, USA, with arbitration as the primary method of dispute resolution. This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
